1 Pack Schobern® Crème Brûlée mix
3 Cups Milk (720ml)
3 Cups Heavy cream or Fresh Cream (720ml)
1 tbsp Finely grated lemon zest
Dash of Caramelizing sugar

Recipe


Step 1: Dissolve the Mix

Start by pouring approximately 50ml of milk into a mixing bowl. Gradually add the Schobern Crème Brûlée mix, stirring continuously until completely dissolved. Ensure the mixture is smooth and lump-free, then set it aside.

Step 2: Heat the Cream

In a saucepan over medium heat, gently combine the remaining milk and heavy cream. Add the finely grated lemon zest to infuse the cream with a refreshing citrus aroma. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.

Step 3: Whisk & Pour

Once the milk and heavy cream mixture has reached a gentle boil, pour the previously dissolved crème brûlée mix into the saucepan. Continue stirring for about 1 minute, or until the mixture thickens to a luxurious, luscious consistency. Pour equal quantities of the mixture into ramekins. Allow them to cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least 2 hours to set.

Step 4: Sprinkle and Torch!

Just before serving, sprinkle a thin, even layer of caramelizing sugar on top of each chilled ramekin. Grab your blow torch and hold it 2-3 inches away from the ramekin. Move the torch continuously until the sugar transforms into a golden, caramelized crust.
